Fearless Excerpts

22-September-2007

I have noticed that when I give myself permission to be human, I give others that same permission. My number one job is to share my humanity because I believe that is what we all are running away from. We want to be perfect and that is unobtainable.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to be the best you can be, but the keyword here is “you”.
The best “you” you can be.

When I lived in fear, I always thought the only way I can make a difference is to be anything but me.

Since watching the first season while I was battleing with having 2 children, went through my first devorice, and the death of that ex. Which was the father of my children. I was married for the secound time and not really doing much but staying at home. I turned on the TV and your show came on so I watched and after that decided to go back and receive my GED. At that time I found it kind of diffucult to get to school and take care of my kids. I decided to make it possible for me to do the steps I needed to do to make things happened. I first joined the PTO at my chilrens school where I found the support to help me with the care I needed. While going to school myself my secound ex-husband decided to cheat and leave for another woman. Again I was on my own and finish my testing for the GED yes I past them and received it. My next step was to become an State Tested Nurse Aide that to was accomplished. Now with that and all of the ups and downs in my life I am going to college to become an Medical Assistant. I have been through so my relationships, jobs, residents, and money problems in the past 10 years that I still have things to learn. I was wondering if there was any advice that you could give me that I could do to better myself. I do apperciate anything you could say to help me I am still trying to find out if I am on the right track for my life.
