You think you know who you are?

9-September-2008

‘Crash’ is my new number one movie, I know it’s been out for 4 years now, and I can’t believe I’ve been missing out on something that good.

I absolutely love it, every line is a quote worth memorizing, and every scene is a plot by itself.
I think that’s what sets it apart from other movies, the insightful thoughts, the clever screenplay, the bold spotlight on humans, and the artistic way that weaves the lives of all the characters together…

I can’t tell exactly why, but this movie touched me deeply.

It’s the sense of touch. In any real city, you walk, you know? You brush past people, people bump into you. In L.A., nobody touches you. We’re always behind this metal and glass. I think we miss that touch so much, that we crash into each other, just so we can feel something.

You think you know who you are?… You have no idea.

لكن أذكر اقتباس مماثل في فلم الماتركس 1
المعلم مورفيس يحاور نيو أثناء اختبار قدراته في الكونفو :

DO n’t Think you are know you are

فعلاً حوار رائع وملهم ، وفلم يبقى في الذاكرة

    دمت بخير

Crash is great by focusing on the little details which make the difference, and insight look to the characteristic of people.

You described it better than me…

من الأفلام التي تذهب بنا بعيداً خارج قصتها، قليلة هي الأفلام التي تقوم بهذا الفعل كان آخرها بالنسبة لي : inception

The concept of four stories going in parallel to converge at the end into one story is great. One of Milan Kundera’s stories was the first (to me) to offer this concept.
Anyway i agree the movie is great both on performance of actors and director
